Straight 08NA50-5D – Straight Armored Floor Joint

The Conecto Straight 08NA50-5D is a heavy-duty armored construction and expansion joint designed for industrial concrete floors subjected to high traffic and heavy loading conditions. The system provides reliable load transfer between adjacent slab panels while allowing controlled horizontal movement caused by concrete shrinkage and thermal expansion.

The joint assembly incorporates high-strength rectangular steel plate dowels positioned within engineered sleeves, allows slab movement while preventing vertical displacement between slabs. This load-transfer mechanism reduces the risk of joint deterioration, slab curling, and edge damage while maintaining long-term floor performance.

The straight armored steel profile also acts as a stay-in-place formwork and edge protection system, protecting slab edges from spalling and impact damage caused by forklifts and other material-handling equipment.

The Straight 08NA50-5D joint system is supplied as a prefabricated assembly, allowing contractors to install joints quickly and accurately during slab placement.
