Conecto SINUS 04NS50-4D – Sinusoidal Armored Floor Joint

The Conecto SINUS 04NS50-4D is a high-performance sinusoidal armored construction joint designed for industrial concrete floors subjected to heavy traffic and demanding operational conditions. The system features a precision-formed sinus wave-shaped steel top profile that provides superior protection to slab edges while allowing smooth load transfer between adjacent concrete slabs.

Unlike traditional straight armored joints, the sinusoidal profile allows forklift wheels and other hard wheeled material-handling equipment to cross the joint smoothly, significantly reducing impact loads, vibration, and wheel damage. This results in improved durability of both the concrete slab and warehouse equipment while providing a safer and more comfortable operating environment for forklift operators.

The integrated plate dowel load-transfer system efficiently transfers loads between slab panels while permitting controlled slab movement caused by shrinkage and temperature changes. With large-surface steel dowels and precise spacing, the system minimizes vertical displacement between slabs and helps maintain long-term floor performance in high-traffic facilities.

The SINUS 04NS50-4D is manufactured from structural steel and delivered as a prefabricated joint assembly for accurate alignment and simplified installation during slab construction.
