The Conecto Composite Polymer Sinus 06NSTW60-5D is an advanced sinusoidal construction and expansion joint designed for high-performance industrial concrete floors. Unlike traditional steel-armored joints, this system utilizes a glass-fiber-reinforced composite polymer sinus profile, delivering extremely smooth forklift travel while significantly reducing vibration and impact loads at the joint.
The sinusoidal wave geometry allows forklift wheels and other material-handling equipment to cross the joint with minimal impact, creating the sensation that there is virtually no joint in the floor surface during operation. This dramatically reduces wear on wheels, racking systems, and transported goods while improving operator comfort.
The system incorporates a steel plate dowel load-transfer mechanism designed to transfer horizontal loads between adjacent slab panels while permitting controlled horizontal movement caused by shrinkage and thermal expansion.
